Kihon refers to the fundamental techniques and basics in martial arts, including stances, strikes, blocks, and kicks, essential for building a strong foundation in skills and understanding of Karate.

Kumite is the practice of sparring or engaging in controlled fighting exercises with a training partner while wearing protective pads.

Pad Work

Kata refers to a formalized sequence of movements, techniques, and stances that simulate different combat scenarios and teach the application of techniques.

Pad work involves training techniques such as strikes, kicks, and combinations on focus mitts or pads held by a training partner, enhancing accuracy, power, and timing.
